Professional Background
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Leeds in northern England I joined the Royal Air Force as a commissioned officer. After completing infantry officer training I served on several units, including the Regiment’s parachute squadron and completed 7 operational tours of duty in a 17-year career. Life as a soldier can be extremely varied and in addition to the routine patrolling and peace-enforcement duties I completed several medium-scale infrastructure projects including rebuilding 3 schools in war-torn Pristina in Kosovo and repairing roads and plumbing potable water into villages in Basra, Iraq. After serving on the Queen’s Colour Squadron and participating in the
Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in 2006 I decided to make this beautiful Province my home. I moved
to NS in 2009 and began my new career in real estate.
Personal Background and Interests
Born and raised in central England and joining the British Armed Forces after graduating
university my real estate experience has been buying and selling homes numerous times during
my military career and buying and selling for a fixed income return on property. I have also been an active investor for several years. A former semi-professional soccer and rugby player, and a
parachute instructor, my interests now include boating, wakeboarding and quad-biking and
watching football and rugby.
